Gift Guides. Holiday Parties. How did we get there?! It’s mid November and Holiday invites are starting to roll in. This is when I get a lot of my clients asking “What do I wear to (this type) of party?”. From casual parties with friends to Cocktails with the girls while they are home for the Holidays to Business casual work dinners to Black tie Parties; I’ve got you covered!

Casual Holiday Party
I love a good casual friend/family party over the Holidays. Honestly this is where most of my Holiday parties (with the exception of my husband’s work party) will fall. I like to look put together, but comfortable (because lets face it, most of these parties involve eating!). Styled, but not too over the top. Classic, but also embracing the spirt of the Holiday. It’s easier than you may think to achieve this look. Start with a great pair of denim, pick a cozy sweater or feminine blouse, and finish it off with a great pair of boots.

Holiday Cocktails with the Girls
Is there anything better than getting the girls together for a night out? Especially around the Holidays when friends are in from out of town and you finally get a chance to catch up face to face. I love a good chance to dress up and I feel like the Holidays bring out the fancy in me!
SHOP GIRLS NIGHT OUT STYLE:
Business Casual Work Events
I take a lot of liberties with this type of invite. My husbands office always does an incredible party at a great venue in Tulsa. Dinner and Dancing; it’s so fun! The invite always says Casual Business, but because of the styling and venue, I tend to dress up a little more. Brian will normally wear dark denim, boots, a dress shirt and a blazer or sweater. He keeps me in check! I’m still deciding on what I will wear this year, but I found some great options below!

Black Tie Holiday Parties
I love a good Black Tie event. It is so easy to go with your standard, black formal, but I would love to encourage you, at least during this Holiday season to step out of your comfort zone. Try a red gown instead of black. Go for a sequin dress, a dress with ruffles, a bold print. If you can’t have fun with fashion at a Holiday party, when can you? These dresses do not have to break the bank either! I’m adding dresses below from $28 and up!
